About NoVA PAN

The Northern Virginia Professional Administrative Network was created in March 2015. Several of the participants were members of the Northern Virginia Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP). When IAAP dissolved all local chapters became one global organization, the Northern Virginia Chapter members were disappointed because we were a family.

We found a way to stay together by creating a Non-Stock Corporation called the Northern Virginia Professional Administrative Network (NoVa PAN). Most of our members also remained part of IAAP because of the professional benefits, including administrative certification and re-certification. As professional administrative roles increased and evolved with new functions and technology, several members needed to devote more time to their jobs. NoVA PAN took a break in 2018.

Now, we’re back! Yes, administrative professionals are busier than we’ve ever been. After all, we are the ones who take the administrative burden off our executives and leaders so that they can focus on their goals of maintaining a successful business. Our network

  • Shares new and best practices

  • Presents seminars on the latest procedures and technology

  • Creates events that enable certified administrative professionals to earn Certified Education Units.
